OAHPERD Journal
Summer 2022
Message from the Editor
June is Great Outdoors Month, a time to celebrate nature and find new ways to enhance student health and learning by increasing time outside. Also, summer can be a great time to engage in professional development. Check out the professional development opportunities in this edition! Also, if you learn about something amazing this summer or you've incorporated something new into your class this past year, consider sharing your knowledge with other physical education and health teachers at the OAHPERD Convention scheduled for October 3rd & 4th, 2022, at the University of Central Oklahoma. Find more information below on how to sign up to be a presenter at the OAHPERD Convention. We are excited for this year's convention and look forward to connecting with all of our members again! Please put the dates of the convention on your calendars. Hope to see you there!
