MAJOR ALL STAR NEWS
October 21-25, 2024
Moving Mountains in a Major Way.......
Dear All-Star Families,
I hope this message finds you well and rejuvenated after a refreshing fall break. As we return to school, it’s the perfect time for us to reset and refocus on our academic goals before Thanksgiving.
With the middle of the year approaching quickly, it’s crucial that we encourage you to make sure that your child/children attend school every day. Consistent attendance is key to their success and growth. We have a lot of important work ahead of us, and every day in the classroom counts.
If you have not placed your child’s Chick-fil-a order, you still have time. Chick-fil-A will be on campus this Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Also, please keep in mind that Trunk-or-Treat for our students will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:30 pm -7:00 pm.
Let’s come together as a community to support our students in reaching their full potential. Whether it’s helping them stay organized, encouraging them to ask questions, or simply checking in on their progress, your involvement makes a significant difference. Remember, every day in the classroom counts!
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make the most of the time we have and strive for academic achievement together!
Yours for an opportunity to serve,
Ursula Gordon-Higginbotham
Principal

Breakfast is served at 7:45 a.m. Like last year, the bus loop pick up and drop off pattern will be along the back of the building and car riders will be dropped off at the front of the building through the car rider line in the morning and the opposite afterschool. Please remember that car riders can’t be dropped off in the parking lot or on the street (scholars must remain in the car). Students are considered tardy after 8:05 a.m. and parents are considered late after 3:50 p.m. Please remember dismissal begins at 3:25 p.m.
