Safe and Sound
The safety of our schools is always top of mind. We continue to work on ways to enhance safety and security in our buildings. That means continually updating our facilities, processes and protocols. We also want to highlight our Safe and Sound resources, for information on how to keep students safe at school, online and at home.
Includes information on reporting, visitor protocols, and emergency preparedness and communication.
Responsible Gun and Weapons Storage: Families can help protect our community by ensuring any firearms in their home are stored safely.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.
Road Safety: The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety is a partnership of safety advocates throughout the state who have come together for a common purpose: to end traffic fatalities and serious injuries on public roadways.
Cyberbullying: Information from various government agencies on what cyberbullying is, who is at risk, and how you can prevent and respond to bullying.
Digital Citizenship: Working together, schools and families can prepare kids to think critically and use technology in positive, creative, and powerful ways.
Think Before You Post: When an investigation concludes there was a false or hoax threat made to a school or another public place, a federal charge could be considered.
