Hello HMS Families,

We hope you all are enjoying this beautiful sunny Monday getting back into the swing of your daily routine. Last Tuesday, we posted a video of our students talking about what they are thankful for. If you have a chance to look at it, we know it will bring a smile to your face.

We wanted to take a moment to talk about how thankful we are for all of you! Every day all of you show us your kindness and grace in different ways. It might be a simple wave hello or goodbye, a kind email, a smile, or a note. We appreciate all of you in helping us build an amazing community at HMS. We truly get to work and live in the best community.

Hello Hockinson Families!

It is officially that time of year to kick off our annual HMS Christmas Giving Tree! If you would like to participate and help a family in need please feel free to come into our Middle School Office and check-out as many tags as you would like!

We need all wrapped gifts returned by December 17th so that we have enough time to get them to their respective families before winter break.

Our food drive is off to an amazing start! Together our students and families have donated over 2,000 items of food, with our goal being 6,000 items.

We have two weeks left of our food drive and it's not too late to join in on the fun! Today we had our Campbells Soup bombing day, and it's always fun to see the kids in the hallways dropping of soup cans to the Homebase classes with the highest amount of donated food.

Donuts with Santa is coming up Saturday, December 14th!

PWT is excited to be hosting the Donuts with Santa event from 9:00am-12:00pm. The proceeds from this event will go towards 8th grade promotion.

We are so excited for the Community Concert on Thursday! We hope you all will consider joining us! There will be Journey tribute band, Stone in Love, performing for the Hockinson Community in the Hockinson High School gym starting at 6:30pm.

It's going to be a great time! We hope to see you there.

We hope you will join us for our very own Hockinson Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, December 6th starting at 6:00pm. The actual lighting of the tree will take place at 6:30pm. The HMS band will be playing holiday music, there will be crafts, carolers, and Santa! This is such a fun event and a great way to connect with all of you.

We hope you will join us at our annual Band movie fundraiser on Saturday, December 21st. The doors open at 8:45am. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please click HERE.

We have had requests to create an Instagram account so families can follow us on that platform because they don't use Facebook. So, we are excited to share with you all that we created an Instagram account that is connected to our Facebook page! We are looking forward to connecting with our families using both platforms.
