Principal's Message...
What an amazing Sneak Peek we had today! It is one of my favorite times of the year to see our students coming back into the building or entering for the first time. I know it going to be a great year ahead. Below I just wanted to highlight a couple of updates:
- Our enrollment is down for the current school year, especially in 1st grade. This may cause some shifts after the first couple weeks of school, but the district waits for the school year to get started to make these decisions.
- Parent visitors for lunch will not start until after the long Labor Day weekend.
- Birthday treats are available to be ordered through our cafeteria. Outside food and treats will not be allowed. Please think through a Friday birthday treat and perhaps order during the week to celebrate since Fridays students are allowed to buy ice cream.
- We know our students love to visit their previous teachers in the morning when they arrive. This year we are going to direct students that this can only occur on Fridays in an effort to get students to class on time and maintain better hallway supervision.
I do encourage questions, suggestions, and any feedback you have throughout the school year. Please always feel free to reach out to me by email (rosenthall@fultonschools.org).
