Attendance: It's a Community Effort!
Attendance Matters: Our Goal is 90% regular attendance
At HRVHS, we know that life happens, and sometimes students need to miss school. However, we want our families to understand that both excused and unexcused absences can affect their child's learning due to loss of instruction, and their attendance record.
Try to stick to only excused absences, which include;
Illness or Injury
Medical appointments
Family emergencies (such as a death in the family)
Court appearances (with proper documentation)
Pre-approved school-related activities (such as field trips, outdoor school or sports events)
Always email or call to excuse absences as soon as possible;
