Monthly Choose Kindness Lesson: Responsibility
What is responsibility?
“Responsibility is owning your actions. The more responsibility you have, the more your parents, teachers, and friends will trust you!”
—Jimmer Fredette
The word is responsibility. Responsibility is being accountable for what you do, for all of your actions, both good and bad. Responsibility means doing the right thing at the right time, so others can trust and depend on you. Responsibility means taking care of your property, yourself, and others. Responsibility means to know what your job is and to do it to the best of your ability. Responsibility means when you make a poor decision, you admit to it, apologize for it, and then take steps to change it.
How can you show show responsibility at home, at school, and in the community?

Meet Our New School Nurse: Cheryl Traver
Hello! My name is Cheryl Traver. I am a Registered Nurse and very excited to be the new school nurse at Corinth Elementary School. I have been a school nurse for 16 years. I am from Saratoga Springs but I have lived in Greenfield since 1988. I have always wanted to work closer to home, and I am so happy to be here, Corinth is minutes away!
I have a wonderful husband named Patrick and 2 children, a son Eric and daughter Vanessa. I now have an awesome grandson named Patrick. He was born March 2024.
Always feel free to reach out to me. I am thrilled to be here for you and your students.
Student Health Services
Our district has partnered with Saratoga Hospital to offer a Student Health Services initiative. An advanced practice provider will be available in our district to offer FREE medical care for all students. Some of their services will include: care for minor injuries and illnesses; mental health consultation; acute care prescription medication; and sports physicals. These professionals will share their time between the Elementary School and the Oak Street campus.
In order for students to take advantage of this great opportunity, parents/guardians must sign and return the consent form to their building principal. If you would like to learn more about this service, please follow this link to a recording of our presentation from December 6th, 2022. The Google Slide presentation is also available here. Should you have questions regarding this service, please call 518-654-9005 or 518-654-2960 Extension, 3446.
