June Mock Newbery Read-Along
Join the Mock Newbery Goodreads group read-along! Each month we'll pick a book published in 2019 to read and virtually discuss in preparation for creating our first 2020 reading list. June's book book is The Next Great Paulie Fink by Ali Benjamin. Want to read ahead? Our July book is The Mighty Heart of Sunny St. James by Ashley Herring Blake. The first 2020 Mock Newbery reading list will be available July 22. Email your recommendations (or post to the Goodreads group) by July 19.

We'll be discussing the newest YA books (fiction and non-fic published bewtween June 2018 - May 2019). Please submit titles you'd like to discuss to Danielle Margarida (use subject line Current YA) by May 30 or bring your favorite new titles to the meeting. This will also be the last YART meeting of the year, so we will wrap up the meeting with our 2018/19 highlights and planning for 2019/20 meetings.
