Hello Trojan Families,

Our students and teachers will use the "myHomework" app to schedule W.I.N. time during the school day. W.I.N., which stands for "What I Need," takes place daily from 11:45 to 12:15.

W.I.N. time serves as a free tutoring system where students can attend small group instruction with their teacher, make up missing assignments, or work on tasks to get ahead. Students can sign up for W.I.N. sessions with their current teacher or be invited by their teacher. This time is available Tuesday through Friday. On Mondays, students will engage in Leader In Me lessons with their advisors. Additionally, we will offer club time and intramurals to help students connect and find their voice on campus.

Students should use the following to help guide their W.I.N. time sign up:

• Look at your grades (Need to have at least a "C"=70 or higher).
• Think about classes where you need help with what you are learning.
  
• Have you missed any assignments or assessments?
  
• Did your teacher invite you to a W.I.N. session?

To help, please ask your student to show you their W.I.N. time schedule in the myHomework app every Sunday to ensure they are prepared for the week. Parents can also join their student’s myHomework app by following these instructions:

• Starting on tomorrow, we will begin issuing violation tickets for those without tags. Thank you for your cooperation! Tags can be purchased in the A office with Ms. McFadden.
• We are continuing with freshmen IDs this week. New student IDs will begin this week.
  
• Message from ATC: You may park at ATC if you do one of the following: either leave your car at ATC until the end of the day or if you have your final class at ATC. Please note that driving back and forth between NHS and ATC is not permitted.

By registering your child for Alive at 25, they will receive comprehensive training on safe driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and the importance of making responsible choices behind the wheel.
