Note from the Principal
It is hard to believe we are wrapping up the second trimester of school on Friday. As we begin the 3rd trimester, we will also begin planning and solidifying structures for next school year. Be on the lookout for updates for enrolling in for next year. If you have not already, please update student and family information in the district parent portal.
Also, the design for the new building is wrapping up. Our goal is for plans to be complete in mid-April. Please see the pictures below for an idea of the concepts and design for the building. If you have questions about the building or process, please reach out to our office.

Middle School
Middle school just launched a social studies unit on the western hemisphere. We are focusing on identifying physical features in the western hemisphere and explaining how physical features affect people who live in the corresponding region. To kick the unit off, we went on a nature walk, collected and journaled about physical features we could feel, see and hear explained. After, we made our own topographical map to represent Colorado with objects we collected!
Girls Scout Cookies
Who is in need of Girl Scout Cookies? Our girl scouts will be selling them Friday, Feb. 23rd from 2:00 till 4.

Middle School
The middle school classes went out into the community to spread some Valentine cheer. They went to an assisted living center to make some great connections and to give Valentine's that they created.
All School
We are in the season of love and giving, what better way to support your community than giving to the JeffCo Action Center. Now through March 8 we are collecting food and hygiene items as a part of Grub Club. All donations will go to supporting students experiencing homelessness and emancipation in our district. Our school is to collect ready-made meals or shelf-stable meals. (pop top items) There is a collection box in the lobby with a QR code to scan for monetary donations or to drop in a canned /packaged good. Thanks for your support!
