Old Business Information
One of the most efficient ways to do that is attend the pre-conference workshop annually. There is an option again this year. If board members would like to attend this, the district will get them registered.
* Triple I Conference: All board members registered.
*Washington School: Weekly construction meeting. Bulley & Andrews will soon commit to a date to turn building over firmly (at the November 6th construction meeting). We did get a tentative date of February 25th at the last meeting. Originally their intention was to turn over classrooms, but new goal is to turn over the entire building (we are looking forward to that). On the outside of the building on Lawrence, some of the brickwork is complete. Some of the cinder block you see on Lawrence should be glazed brick, which comes from Athens, Georgia. As a result of an "act of god" in that area, the product is not available, as the plant shut-down indefinitely. Currently, team is trying to find out an alternative solution. This is the first time we've run into a situation of not being able to get a material, but they responded in a way to keep the project moving forward.
