I am so proud of the Speech and Drama Club for their production of the Wizard of Oz. Under the direction and leadership of Mrs. Schwartze and Mrs. Higgins these young women and men performed a fun, heart-felt, and light-hearted play for the school, parents, and guests. They worked so hard to accomplish this and their hard-work paid off. Great job!

As we continue to celebrate the Easter season, the time we share together this year is slowly coming to a close. We have about one month left of school and quite a number of really big events happening. We have the 4th Grade Science Fair this Friday, we have the Spring Concert on April 26th, First Communion, 8th grade Camp, Field Day, Virtue Mass (Prayerfulness) with Noon Dismissal, 8th grade events, May Crowning, and all of the end of the year events. Congratulations Frankie Beckemeier and Catherine Ewanio for their on their winning T-shirt designs for Karen for a Kause! The foundation is a local organization who raises money for breast cancer. Karen Weidinger and Greg (pictured) were classmates at St. Charles Borromeo. Catherine's design will be for the volunteers' shirts and Frankie's design will be for the runners in the Karen for a Kause 5K to be held on May 11, 2024 at Frontier Park, St. Charles, MO. The girls will be invited to attend and start the race.

The end of the school year is fast approaching and summer is right around the corner. I would like to invite children entering Kindergarten to 5th grade to join us for BASK camp the week of June 10th-14th and July 8th-12th for two weeks of great fun. Space is filling up fast so if you're interested sign up soon.It will be a week full of fun crafts, outside fun, and water activities on Fridays. Space is almost full. Sign up soon for a spot.

A few notes for the last couple of weeks of BASK. Starting May 6th your FACTS account will be charged weekly for BASK so that it is paid off by the last day of school.

Starting May 20th your FACTS account will be charged at the end of the BASK night.

Home and School Association

Are you interested helping organize events for school? The Home and School Association helps with school events, arranges fun fundraising idea like dine out nights, works with new families, and coordinates appreciation events for students and faculty. For the month of April, we are excited to try and have Chick-fil-A delivered to us for lunch on Friday, April 25. The options and costs of the meals are as follows:

There will be no option to order extras. Each student can order ONE complete meal.

If your child is interested in ordering Chick-Fil-A, the order will have to be placed by Tuesday, April 23. This way we can place the order by April 24. We cannot accept any late orders.

Dear St. Charles Borromeo School Families,

We are excited to announce a heartwarming initiative to strengthen our school community's

spiritual bond - the Monthly Children's Mass! The next Children’s Mass will be held on

Sunday, April 21st, at 11 a.m., with our seventh-grade students hosting Mass at St. Charles

Borromeo Parish. By actively participating in the various parts of the Mass (Liturgy of the Word,

Liturgy of the Eucharist) our students will experience firsthand the sacredness of the Mass. Each

month will be hosted by a different grade. We invite all families to attend this special Children’s

Mass and show your support as our children deepen their understanding of our faith. Let’s come

together as a school family to celebrate faith, love, and unity. We look forward to seeing you

there.
