April/May 2024
From the Desk of Ms. Ulloa
This month it is all about seniors and graduation! CLASS OF 2024 WHOOT WHOOT!
Congratulations to those seniors who will have the opportunity to walk across the stage twice. We are so proud of you and your willingness to persevere to get to this point. Many of you have already been accepted to the university of your choice, while others are still awaiting a response. Either way, we know that you are prepared to handle all that comes your way. Way to go, Seniors!!! Can't wait to see you on that stage... both times! 😊
Thank you, Parents, for your continued support and partnership. We could not do what we do without you.
REMINDER: Next week is Dallas College finals week. We need all students focused and ready! Our 9th and 10th grade have Advanced Placement testing next week as well. It's a week full of academic stress. We wish everyone the best on finals and AP testing #HillcrestETECHRules

Workplace Learning
Paul Schuder (Senior Associate Wealth Advisor) at Frontier Investment Management Co. shared information with Hillcrest students and parents about a Summer Financial Planning Academy. Six students were sponsored by Frontier to attend this 5-day experience at Texas Tech University absolutely free! Through this opportunity, students will interact with financial experts and learn about personal and business finance, leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, marketing and more!
We are so proud of our United to Learn interns for finishing a great year helping younger students at Kramer Elementary School!
E-TECH students got some hands-on experience recently during recent labs in Mr. McLin's biology class and Mr. Lujan's chemistry class.
E-TECH students participating in Wings training to become certified drone pilots!
