Happy February! We hope you're doing well as we begin an exciting (and important!) month at school.
As we move into February, we want to remind you that it marks the start of TELPAS testing for our English language learners. This assessment is vital for tracking our students’ language progress and growth, and we appreciate your support in ensuring they are well-prepared.
Before we know it, STAAR testing will be just around the corner, and we want every student to be their best! It is so important for students to be on campus each day, as every lesson and every moment of learning counts leading up to these tests. Regular attendance helps them stay on track and stay confident.
Additionally, our teachers will be offering extra help through assigned tutoring days. These sessions are a great opportunity for students to review material, ask questions, and receive targeted support to ensure they feel ready and prepared. We kindly ask that you encourage your child to attend these sessions, as they can make a big difference in their success!

¡Feliz febrero! Esperamos que esta carta los encuentre bien mientras comenzamos un mes emocionante (¡y muy importante!) en la escuela.
A medida que entramos en febrero, queremos recordarles que comienza la prueba TELPAS para nuestros estudiantes aprendices de inglés. Esta evaluación es fundamental para seguir el progreso de los estudiantes en el idioma y su crecimiento, ¡y agradecemos mucho su apoyo para asegurarnos de que estén bien preparados!
Antes de que nos demos cuenta, las pruebas STAAR estarán aqui, y queremos que cada estudiante esté en su mejor momento. Es muy importante que los estudiantes asistan todos los días, ya que cada lección y cada momento de aprendizaje cuentan para estos exámenes.
La asistencia regular los ayuda a mantenerse en el camino y a sentirse más seguros.
Además, nuestros maestros ofrecerán ayuda adicional a través de los días de tutoría asignados.
Estas sesiones son una excelente oportunidad para que los estudiantes repasen material, hagan preguntas y reciban apoyo enfocado para asegurarse de que se sientan preparados. Les pedimos amablemente que animen a su hijo(a) a asistir a estas sesiones, ¡ya que pueden hacer una gran diferencia en su éxito!
