News and Notes
What. A. Week.
Excellence is the name of the game at #ouRHouse, and this week, our students and school community have been on fire:
- GOSA Gold Achievement Honor ·
- STATE CHAMPS: Girls Slow Pitch Softball
- JROTC: Honor Unit with Distinction
Let that sink in — a trifecta of excellence that reflects the dedication, discipline, and drive that live in our hallways every single day. And make no mistake — this doesn’t happen without YOU. Your support, your high expectations, and your investment in our students are what power moments like these.
The Final Stretch is Here
It’s hard to believe, but we’re already in the home stretch of the school year. These last few weeks are incredibly important, and your encouragement can make all the difference for your child. Here are a few ways you can help them finish strong:
- Check in regularly — A quick conversation about assignments, upcoming tests, or goals can help keep them focused and motivated.
- Keep routines steady — Consistency at home helps them stay grounded and finish the year with confidence.
- Celebrate progress, not just perfection — Every student’s path looks a little different, but the finish line matters for all of them. Your belief in them helps fuel their drive to succeed.
We’re so close — and with your continued support, your child can end the year on a high note.
As always, thank you for being a vital part of this school family. Your commitment and care are what make #ouRHouse more than just a building — it’s a place where excellence lives, grows, and thrives.
So, as we roll into the weekend, we hope you find a moment to relax, reflect, and recharge. You’re helping shape the future — and it shows!
Happy Easter!
See ya, Love ya, Bye!

MCV-4 Important Information
At the age of 16, Georgia requires that your student receive the booster to the MCV4 vaccine.
If they do not receive the MCV4 booster on or after the age of 16, their immunization record, Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231), will expire.
If you have not already scheduled an appointment for your student to get their vaccines updated, please contact your healthcare provider or the Bryan County Health Department at 912-756-2611 to arrange the MCV4 booster.
Meningococcal disease is a serious bacterial illness that affects the brain and causes shock, coma and death within hours of the first symptoms. Georgia law requires students be vaccinated against this disease.
Please provide an updated copy of the Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231) once the MCV4 booster is completed. This document will become a part of your student’s permanent record once it is received by the RHHS clinic staff.
Contact your healthcare provider or the Bryan County Health Department with any questions related to the MCV4 Booster.
