What Are AP Classes, and Why Should Your Child Consider Them?
Advanced Placement (AP) classes offer high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams while still in high school. These classes are designed to challenge students academically, enhance critical thinking skills, and prepare them for success in higher education. The Importance of Attendance: Celebrating Commitment to Learning
At Franklin Academy, we know that regular attendance is a cornerstone of academic success. Students who attend school consistently are more engaged in their learning, build stronger relationships with teachers and peers, and are better prepared to excel in their academic journey.
For months, we have been sending daily attendance reminders to stress its importance, yet attendance levels have not shown the improvement we hoped for. To address this, we are introducing a new initiative to recognize and celebrate our scholars who demonstrate outstanding commitment by maintaining perfect attendance.
Recognizing Perfect Attendance
Starting quarter 3, students with perfect attendance will be acknowledged for their dedication and responsibility. We’ll share their achievements through certificates, announcements, and other recognition opportunities to highlight their commitment to learning.
We kindly ask for your support in emphasizing the value of attendance at home. Discuss with your child the importance of being present each day and how it contributes to their growth and success.
Together, we can foster a culture of excellence, responsibility, and achievement. Let’s work to make every day count!
