Updated 2025 school calendar

Due to the recent snow days, the 2025 calendar has been updated as follows:

May 16th was previously scheduled as a snow make-up day, there will now be school on this day
June 11th was previously scheduled as the last day of school, the last day of school will now be June 12th

Monday, June 9th will now be the last day of in person classes at Home Choice Academy
June 10th, 11th, 12th - End of Year Conferences

Our focus for this Learning Coach Café session is: I Know How to Work with the School—one of the key mindframes from The Distance Learning Playbook for Parents. In our blended learning alternative education program, parents act as learning coaches, responsible for 60% of their student’s education. Strong partnerships between families and schools are essential to student success.

Spring Family Previews 2024-25

Comprehensive Sexual Health Education

“Please see the linked flyer for information regarding the upcoming Spring Family Preview Nights for Comprehensive Sexual Health Education on Tuesday, March 18th (English) from 6-8 pm; Wednesday, March 19th (Spanish) from 6-8 pm; Wednesday, March 26tth (Russian) 6:00-8:00 PM. The preview night will include a brief presentation with an overview of our 4th-12th grade program, sample lessons, video segments, and question and answer time. Families will also have the opportunity to preview the updated FLASH lessons used in grades 4-12 as well as the Puberty Workshop videos in grades 4-5. More information about CSHE at EPS can be found on the district CSHE website. For families attending Preview Nights that need translation services, please contact Lori Davis (Lorene.Davis@evergreenps.org ) for arrangements.”

February Action for Happiness Calendar

Families on Campus

To prepare for the first day of school, please complete your volunteer application here. This includes emailing the office a copy of your ID.

Approved background checks are good for two years. If you completed your application in the previous school year no action is needed at this time.

Transportation

The transportation department is providing morning shuttle bus services for our program. The shuttle stops will be at Silver Star, Pioneer, Mill Plain, and Marrion.
