Low Ash Primary
Kindness Award Winners
Weekly update - 25.10.24
Autumn term week 8
Firstly, every half term a pupil from each phase in school is chosen as the Kindness Award winner. These awards are given to pupils who are consistently kind and caring to their peers and other members of the school community. Pictured above are all the nominees and the overall winners.
Well done all!
Golden Learners
Well done to this half term's Golden Learners who are pictured below. The Golden Learners are selected due to their positive attitudes to learning, including attributes such as resilience and perseverance. Well done to the first Golden Learners of the school year!
It's been a long half term and the children are definitely all ready for the break. They have worked hard these last few weeks and should all be very proud of what they have achieved.
A reminder that we do not return to school until Tuesday 5th November.

Library visits
Children have enjoyed their visits to Shipley library this week, choosing books and using their new library cards. Visits will continue after half term for those classes who have not been this week.
Consultation evening and end of half term 'showcases'
Thank you to all of those who attended the consultation evenings and the end of term show cases. We hope you found them both informative and that you enjoyed looking at what your child has learnt this half term.
Forest Schools Update
I know parents and carers like to see what the pupils have been up to in their Forest Schools sessions. The weather is getting colder and the ground muddier, but this certainty doesn't stop the learning and fun!
Parking - Nursery Car Park
A reminder that the car park at the rear of the school is for staff and for those with permission from school due to pupil access needs only. An increasing number of parents and carers have been entering this car park (sometimes at speed) and we are fearful of an accident. We know parking is hard around school but please can you respect our request not to enter the car parks. Thank you for your support.
Sport
A fantastic performance from our U7s team this week. They all played incredibly well - keep up the good work!
Congratulations to Low Ash Primary’s Under 11s Dodgeball team!
They came 3rd place at the Hanson Delta Dodgeball Tournament on Thursday.
Well done to everybody involved, you all did amazing.
