PCMS Weekly Update
February 7, 2025

Good Afternoon PCMS Families!
Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the REALLY, REALLY long weekend we just had π₯Ά! When I wrote this last week, I thought we might be done with the weird weather stuff. Nope! Today was the shortest of weeks, however, it was great to see our Pirates back in our halls and classrooms! And as much as they said they didnβt want to be here, they wanted to be here π!
Have a great weekendβspring is on the way! GO PIRATES π§‘π€!
πΉ Pirates in Action
Hereβs a quick recap of our Pirates in action from this past week.
Archery: Last weekend, Platte County hosted two tournaments, the PC Showdown and the PC Shootout (3D). Our PCMS Pirate teams performed amazingly in both tournaments! Team 1 secured 1st place in both tournaments, while Team 2 achieved 6th place in the PC Showdown and 5th place in the PC Shootout.
π School Tips & Reminders
Just a reminder that students need to ride their assigned bus routes home from school. They are not allowed to ride home with any other student on a different bus. They are only allowed to ride a different bus home If they have an alternate bus route already registered with transportation.
𧑠This Week's Character Dare
The CharacterDare is a heart workout, inviting students and adults to practice kindness, patience, and respect with themselves and others. These school-wide challenges encourage staff and students to put character into action, fostering personal growth and positively impacting school culture.
This Week's CharacterDare is: Due to no school - we had no Character Dare this week!
