7th Grade Field Day
Today, 7th Grade students were given a list of choices for a field day that will take place May 30th. They were also given a paper where the students can write their choices. They will need to review their choices this weekend and bring it to their WIN teacher on Monday, May 13th.
Why a field day?: The 7th grade teachers wanted to recognize all the hard work this group of students has accomplished this year with a celebration.
What will the schedule look like? Students will go to their regular class periods, including WIN, for periods 1-3. After lunch they will go to their choices for periods 4-6.

Minnesota Misson of Mercy Dental Clinic
The Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation are proud to announce the upcoming Minnesota Mission of Mercy (MnMOM) event. This two-day free dental clinic will take place on June 7 and 8, 2024, at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC).
The Mission of Mercy initiative aims to bring free dental care to those in need. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee @ EHS
Duluth East Theater departement is EXTREMELY excited to bring the hilarious musical, The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee to the Stage next week May 9-11th at 7:00 pm! Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults and will go on sale 1 hour prior to curtain. Seating is general and the doors open at 6:30pm. Payment is check or cash only.
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
This riotous ride is complete with audience participation! The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful den of comedic genius! Don't miss out! Please Note: This musical is rated PG-13 and is a satire of stereotypes. There is a song about puberty and other young adult theme jokes throughout.
