Message from Mrs. Harp
Penngrove Community,
I hope to see you this Wednesday at Fiesta Familiar! Our students who have been learning marimba after school will be doing a performance to show off all they've learned! Plus, mariachi, delicious food and spending some QT with our Penn community!
We also have our last Skate Night of the year on Friday evening- the last one was a huge hit!
We have made some progress on construction and are hoping to pull the fences back a bit ASAP so student have access to some black top space! Wooohooo!
Lean in,
Carley Harp

⛺ #PennPanthersClassOf2024 week at Camp Royaneh ⛺
🌞⛺ Our 6th graders just returned from an unforgettable week at Camp Royaneh, filled with adventures, bonding, and personal growth. From challenging hikes to late-night campfire stories, they returned home tired but beaming with newfound confidence and maturity. Some of them are already cherishing the comforts of home, but all will carry memories that will last a lifetime. Huge thanks to our incredible community at Penngrove Elementary for supporting all our fundraising & making it possible! ⛺🌞

🌱 Garden Update 🌱
Hello Panther families!
We are busy bees up in garden getting LOTS of seeds started, starts planted, grow towers filled and our worm composting system cared for. We recently received four pounds of worms from Conservation Works whom gave us the bins many years ago. We are about to launch into our Lost Ladybug project which is a student favorite. Please visit the pollinator habitat in front of room 10 it is looking AMAZING right now. If you have a 4-6th grader ask them which plant they studied!
Please sign up on either or both of these google docs to help me check on the gardens over the summer:

Reading Kit Request
We're so excited to introduce Penngrove Reading Kits this year. This is a fun way to bring new books home to read as a family, support a struggling reader, encourage a love of reading, or just for FUN! If you're curious which kit would be best for your reader, don't hesitate to reach out to their classroom teacher.
Detailed description of these kits are here. Otherwise, feel free to browse the kits in the office or reach out to Mrs. M with any questions at amiljkovic@petk12.org. There are multiple kits at most levels with different titles to keep things interesting :)
Families can check out 2 kits per student at a time and return in 2 weeks.
