We had a fantastic week at SLE! As we head into our last week before Spring Break, we’re excited for all the fun still to come. Don’t forget — tonight (March 7th) is our Spring Fling from 5–7 p.m.! A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA and all the wonderful volunteers who’ve worked so hard to make this event happen. We truly appreciate you! Let’s make next week a great one as we wrap up before a well-deserved break.

For 40 years, March has been designated by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) as Music In Our Schools Month® (MIOSM®). The positive impact of music education in the lives of students lasts a lifetime. Every day, in classrooms and rehearsal rooms across our school district, music educators dedicate themselves to reaching all students with life-changing musical experiences. Parents, administrators, and the wider community often only see the wonderful results of music performances; however, we miss the many months of practice and rehearsals and more importantly the learning process that takes place to make it all happen.We encourage members in our community to acknowledge and celebrate music education as an essential part of every student’s educational journey!

You are invited to join us for a day of learning, connection and inspiration at the Jeffco Parents Encouraging Parents (JPEP) Conference on Friday, April 25 at Chatfield Senior High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event is designed by parents for parents, guardians and caregivers of children receiving special education, 504, gifted & talented or twice-exceptional (2e – gifted with a disability) services. Jeffco PEP will feature engaging workshops, a keynote speaker, small group discussions, a resource fair and more. Breakfast and lunch are included, plus a coffee and tea service.

If your Panther is in 3rd-5th grades, our Mandatory CMAS testing at SLE will take place April 7th - April 24th.

Appointments and vacations during testing days are highly discouraged. Thank you!
