From Miss Angela
Dear VAP Families,
As we embrace the vibrant spirit of October, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences we've had during Red Ribbon Week. It was truly a joy to see our students enthusiastically participate in all the fun events, reinforcing our commitment to making healthy choices together.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Halloween cookie decorating event last Friday! Your creativity and spirit made the evening special, and we are especially grateful to Miss Dolly for her fantastic coordination of this fun-filled gathering.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce our annual Pumpkin Showcase on Thursday, October 31st! We can’t wait to see all the imaginative creations that our families have crafted. Additionally, our Middle School will be hosting Spooky Science that same day, inviting both students and families to join in on some frightfully fun experiments. For details on the Spooky Science event and the K-2 Halloween Parade schedules, please see the information below.
We'd also like to remind families that Quarter 1 will be closing on November 5th. If you haven’t done so yet, please take a moment to check in with your child and review their grades and any missing assignments on Gradelink.
Lastly, as the temperatures have dropped significantly this week, please ensure your child packs a warm jacket to stay cozy during those chilly mornings.Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to celebrating the season together!
