Please join us in welcoming Ms. Keturah Draper and Ms. Bridgette Nygard as Assistant Principals at LWJES!
From Ms. Draper
I am thrilled and honored to join the dynamic Louis Wiener, Jr. Elementary School as one of your Assistant Principals.
As a longtime educator, serving 23 years in Baltimore City Public Schools and 3 years here in the Clark County School District, I am excited to become a member of this school community where I will work diligently, compassionately, and earnestly to embolden and support the entire school community here at Louis Wiener, Jr. Elementary School.
I look forward to meeting and working collaboratively with the parents, families, and community of his amazing school to provide a meaningful and motivating environment that will encourage the success of ALL students.
About Ms. Nygard
I'm excited to serve as a new Assistant Principal at Louis Wiener Jr. Elementary School!
I'm originally from Southern California and have lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years. I graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1999. Later on, I was inspired to work as an administrator and received a Master's Degree in Educational Administration in 2006.
My biggest passion is education and I have taught in grades 2-5 at the elementary school level. I have also served as an Instructional Coach and Educational Consultant on the Hawaiian Islands for six years working with grades K-12.
In my free time, I enjoy water sports, hiking with my dogs, and collecting anything related to Baby Yoda. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Louis Wiener, Jr. Elementary School team and look forward to serving as your Assistant Principal!
