Tiger Update
Information/Updates about Pickerington High School Central
Message from Mr. Lanier
Our announcements this week focused on the word 'extraordinary.' When you break this word down you have the words, 'extra' and 'ordinary.' The word ordinary is defined as 'having no special or distinctive features, normal.' So many times we turn our noses up at doing the 'ordinary' thing because it isn't fun; it can be boring; and it doesn't bring us instant gratification. However, doing the 'ordinary' thing over and over and over again brings us to the word 'extra'. The word 'extraordinary' is defined as 'very unusual or remarkable.' It is interesting to think that something that is not special or distinctive becomes remarkable when we focus on doing that ordinary something an extra amount of times.
We're challenging our students and staff to be extraordinary.
Let's have a great week of learning.
Tiger Up,
Mr. Lanier
