A Message from Ms. Cruz
Welcome to Week 29!
Spring Break is just around the corner, but we still have one more exciting week of learning ahead! As we wrap up this stretch before the break, we encourage students to stay focused and finish strong. There are still important lessons and activities planned, and we appreciate your support in ensuring students continue to arrive on time, ready to learn.
As you look ahead to Spring Break, we hope your family takes this opportunity to relax, recharge, and spend quality time together. If you’d like to keep your child’s mind engaged during the break, remember that they still have access to learning apps, and reading is always a great way to strengthen skills while sparking imagination. Just a few minutes of reading each day can make a big difference!
While students enjoy their time off, our staff will also be taking a well-deserved break to spend with their families. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready to finish the school year strong. Thank you for your continued support, and we wish your family a wonderful and restful Spring Break!
Have a great week, Davis Tigers! Go to Davis, Go to College!
Our Tiger Tenets :
BE SAFE.
BE RESPECTFUL.
BE RESPONSIBLE.

UOP & Rotary Hearing Screening Event
Lodi Sunrise Rotary Club is partnering with the University of the Pacific again this year, to provide a Free Hearing Screening Event that will be held on Saturday, March 15th at the UOP Chan Health Sciences Learning Center Audiology Department in Stockton.
90% of those in need of help are not even aware of it! They just go through life, increasing the volume of the TV and Radio, unable to learn and live life to their full potential. They become more frustrated as time goes on, disengaging themselves day-to-day all because they are experiencing hearing loss. Potential patients will be screened to determine if they are experiencing hearing loss, they will be checked for ear wax buildup or fluid in the ear, these are common reasons for hearing loss. Since the screening is being held at the UOP Audiology facility potential patients, that are determined to be in critical need, can be expedited upstairs to the Diagnostic Center testing booths that very same day! Once it has been determined that potential patients are experiencing hearing loss, the UOP Audiology Department will be vetting them for needs, ability of financial responsibility for care, and move them through the process of treatment.
The goal is to help as many people as possible. If you have any questions, contact Richard Ross at 209-327-0627 or richardr@alamoalarm.com.

Chromebooks
Chromebooks are essential tools for learning in the classroom, used for various applications and tasks. To ensure students have access to the necessary resources, it is expected that students bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school each day. Please note that there is a limited number of loaner devices available. If your student has lost or damaged their Chromebook, please notify their teacher as soon as possible so that the device can be repaired or replaced.
More information about Chromebooks and the Chromebook Care Plan can be found by clicking here.
Volunteering
Adults interested in volunteering in their student's classroom or chaperoning a field trip will need to complete the Volunteer Request Form and be fingerprinted. Please connect with your student's teacher to determine volunteer opportunities. We are currently seeking volunteers to support in supervision of students during lunch between 10:30 am - 1:00 pm. If you are available, please contact the office or scan the QR code.
Morning Dropoff
Please remember that the front gate does not open until 7:40 am as there is no supervision for students prior to this time. It is important that students come to school dressed appropriately, including wearing school-appropriate shoes. If your student comes to school in Crocs or sandals, they will be asked to sit out PE and may not go in the barkbox or onto the fields during recess due to safety concerns.
Students who wish to eat breakfast in the cafeteria should arrive no later than 7:45 am. For students arriving by bus, please proceed immediately to the cafeteria. The cafeteria will be cleared out 15 minutes after the latest bus arrives to ensure that students do not miss instructional time.
Lunch Options For The Week
Picking Students Up
Please remember that if your student has not yet been dismissed and you are in the loading zone, staff will be asking you to park or loop around to allow other parents to load their students who are waiting. We also ask that you model safe behaviors and use the crosswalk. Our Tigers know this is a Tiger Tenet and a way to be safe!
We thank you for your patience and for working with our staff to ensure dismissal occurs smoothly.
Have You Reported Your Students' Absence?
If your student will be out, be sure to call the office at 209-953-8301 to report your their absence. Students who have a medical or dental appointment will need to bring a note from their doctor upon their return.
Additionally, it is important your student arrives on time, ready to learn. School starts at 8:00 am and students are expected to be in their classes at this time.
