On behalf of the students and staff at Llano Elementary School, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for allowing our students the opportunity to visit and explore downtown Lovington. Your generosity in welcoming us and sharing your space made this field trip an unforgettable learning experience.
The students gained so much from the trip! A special thank you to Sandy Brito and Cristina Wilhoit for providing our students with the opportunity to visit the historic courthouse and learn about the countyās emergency equipment, vehicles and Nor-Lea Hospital. Weāre also grateful to Rosa Doporto and Edie Clement for their warm hospitality during our visit to the Lea County Museums.
Our sincere appreciation goes to Matthew Richie and the entire Lovington Fire Department for showing the students around the emergency vehicles and giving them an up-close look at the important work you do. Lastly, a big thank you to the Library Director, Debbie Mitchell at the Lovington Public
Library for guiding the students through the library and sparking their interest in reading.
These experiences will leave a lasting impression, and we are truly grateful for all the community support in enriching the Llano students' education beyond the classroom.
