Preparation April 24, 2017
We are in Fiesta season. This Friday, we will not have school in observance of Battle of Flowers holiday. I hope students take advantage of the extended weekend to relax and maybe even enjoy some of the Fiesta activities. We will return on Monday to the Algebra EOC exam for many of our 8th grade students. The week after, we will have a week of testing for all our 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Our Fine Arts department has also been busy scheduling events with their students. Band will be placing students into appropriate sections, Art students will be at Jr Vase competition, Choir is auditioning for Pop show and our Mariachi has several performances scheduled. It's an exciting time for students as they participate in all of these events. I am looking forward to see how their hard work and preparation pays off.
Enjoy your extended weekend,
Marcus Alvarez
