Welcome Back from your Administrative Team

Hello Pirates families!


We had a fantastic turnout for our first quarter Open House this past Thursday evening! Our scholars looked excited to take their families around our campus to see the great work that is being done.


As the semester continues, I encourage you to continue speaking with your scholar about their progress. A simple question such as "What was your favorite thing you learned today?" goes a long way with assisting students retain the information they learned in their classes. In addition, having conversations about their current grades and what work needs to be completed will ensure success! Checking your scholar's grades on FOCUS is a great way of keeping up to date with their assignments and assessments.


If you need any help accessing your scholar's FOCUS information, call us at the front office (407)344-700 and we can help get you all set up!

Intramurals

To participate in intramurals, a student’s parent or guardian must fill out an “Open Facilities Form” below this message. The form can be printed, filled out by parent and given to Coach Waters or emailed to jack.waters@osceolaschools.net

Sports Participation

AKTIVATE
To participate in any sports, click on the AKTIVATE button above. It is required that a student’s parent or guardian create an Aktivate account with the student's information, including your most recent physical examination from a doctor.

Campus Safety

Students before hours

Students should not be dropped off on campus prior to 9:00am. If you need childcare prior to the start of the school day, we offer Before the Bell program. Please contact the front office for more information. P: 407-344-7000

Arrivals & Dismissals

Students should not be dropped off in front of the main office, they must be dropped off in the carloop.

Walkers must enter through the walking gates and leave promptly after the last bell.

Bike/Scooter riders must walk their bikes/scooters as soon as they are on campus to the appropriate gated area.

Sporting events

Parents/Guardians must pick up their student promptly within 30 minutes of the event ending.

Technology Policies

Cellphones

State of Florida House Bill 379 states that “a student may not use a wireless communications device during instructional time..."


If a student needs to communicate with their family, the main office can assist the student using the school's phone. Likewise, parents can call the school to communicate any information to their student if needed.

School District of Osceola Cellphone Policy

Laptops

Students must bring their laptops to school every day with their charger. If there is an issue with the computer or charger, please seek assistance at the beginning of the day with Mr. Yeffry Torres in the Media Center.


If you still need the Student Device Loan Agreement, you can download it from below in English/Spanish. The student is responsible for reporting any issues with the laptop in a timely manner.
