Bike Safety Event
This week, our Adams Elementary All-Stars took important steps toward becoming safer and more confident bike riders. On Monday, our 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students participated in an exciting Bike Rodeo led by Walk N’ Rollers. During this hands-on experience, students practiced essential biking skills such as navigating obstacles, signaling turns, and following road safety rules—all while having fun! Meanwhile, our TK-3rd grade students attended an engaging and interactive bike safety assembly. They learned about helmet safety, crossing streets safely, and being alert while riding bikes, scooters, and skateboards. The assembly reinforced the importance of being responsible riders and staying safe while enjoying outdoor activities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the City of Costa Mesa for their continued support of our Adams All-Stars. Through community partnerships like these, our students gain valuable life skills that help keep them safe both on and off campus. We are proud of our students’ enthusiasm and commitment to learning how to ride safely. Keep rolling, All-Stars!
A big thank you to all of the Adams All-Stars who donated toys to Colette’s Children’s House in Huntington Beach. Our All-Stars truly understand the season of giving and helped make the holiday season happier for many local children. We want to send a special thank you to Mrs. Dorain, Mrs. Harvey and Adams Elementary Student Council for organizing.
Our Adams Elementary All-Stars shone brightly during our holiday performances on Friday, December 13th, and Tuesday, December 17th! Our talented students filled the air with holiday cheer through their beautiful songs, warming hearts and putting everyone in the festive spirit. Their dedication and hard work truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their outstanding performances. A special thank you goes out to Ms. Harrison, whose leadership, creativity, and passion made these performances unforgettable. Her thoughtful planning and special finales featuring large groups of students were truly magical and added a joyful touch that brought the entire school community together. We were delighted to see so many All-Star families join us to celebrate the season and support our students. Thank you for being a part of these memorable events and for making our holiday celebrations even more special. Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season filled with music, love, and cherished memories!
We are thrilled to recognize the classroom that achieved perfect attendance last week!
A big congratulations to Mrs. Ball’s, class for setting a fantastic example of commitment and teamwork. Your dedication to being at school every day is something to be proud of! Consistent attendance is incredibly important for elementary students. Every school day provides students with opportunities to learn, connect with their classmates, and build foundational skills that set them up for future success. When students attend regularly, they don’t miss out on important lessons, hands-on activities, and valuable classroom discussions. Attendance also fosters a sense of responsibility and helps students feel more connected to their school community. Thank you, Mrs. Ball's class, for leading the way with your commitment to being here every day. Let’s keep up the great attendance, All-Stars!
