Some thoughts for the starting school year
Dear Panther Community,
As we step into the month of March, we’re excited to share a few important events and updates happening at our school. March is filled with opportunities for growth, community engagement, and fun, so here’s what you can look forward to this month!
1. Spring Break (March 24 - 28)
We want to remind all families that Spring Break is just around the corner! Students will have a well-deserved break, so please plan accordingly. We hope everyone enjoys a restful time with family and friends.
2. Parent-Teacher Conferences (March 18 & 20)
Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 18 & 20. This is a great opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers to discuss their progress and ways we can work together to support their academic growth. Please check your email for a link to sign up for a conference slot.
3. Important Health and Safety Reminders
As we move into spring, please be sure to check that your child is dressed appropriately for the changing weather. Layered clothing is key as temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day. Additionally, please continue to monitor your child’s health and remind them about good hygiene practices to prevent the spread of germs.
4. Save the Date: STEAM Night (March 11)
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming STEAM Night—an evening dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)! This exciting event will take place on March 11 from 5:00 to 6:30 at Southside. It’s a hands-on experience for students and families to explore a variety of interactive stations designed to ignite creativity and curiosity.
As always, we are grateful for your continued support and collaboration. We are so proud of the hard work our students and staff have put in this year, and we look forward to what’s ahead.
