The News
REMINDER: No school on Monday.
Our Future Business Leaders of America have been celebrating FBLA Week all week at school with various activities such as celebrating our teachers and making Valentine's cards for nursing homes.
Some of our juniors participated in an ACT boot camp sponsored by Northwest Shoals Talent Search. The student participated in activities all day to help improve their ACT score.
Drivers Ed students visited UNA this week to attend the Lutzie 43 program about safe driving. The program is presented by the father of former Auburn football player Phillip Lutzenkerchin who was killed in a drunk driving incident.
Our JAG students attended a conference at the Shoals Marriott this week and participated in various competitions like public speaking, job interviews, and quiz bowl.
Our students who participate in the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce's junior leadership ship program visited Montgomery this week.
Our varsity girls basketball team's season ended with a three-point loss to Holly Pond in the Northwest Regional. Sophomore Leela Baker was named to the all-tournament team.
