Marching Band Dinner - 8th Grade Night 9/20!
Attention Marching Band Families: Friday Sept 20th is our homecoming football game and 8th grade night. This is an exciting event as we get to welcome the 8th graders and introduce them to our wonderful group. This year we will be hosting over 150 additional students and staff, and we need your help with just a few items.
We will be providing pizza, chips, grapes, and desserts. We still need a few more volunteers to serve and grapes! Grapes need to be brought on Friday to the freshman cafeteria between 4:15 and 4:45. Dinner is being served at 5pm; therefore, all donations must be there 15minutes prior to the start of the dinner service.
This is our largest group to serve in quite a while; thank you for your help in making this a fun night for all of those participating. Thank you for all of the support this group has shown this year! Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.

Marching Band Season Food Donations
No time or don't like to cook but still want to help make sure all the students have fuel to help them on long practice days - donate and help supplement the band's food budget to help pay for 13 or more meals for your student during the marching band season!
Make a donation here: Store (fcbands.org)
Prepare yourself for BOA Louisville!
Next Saturday, September 28th is our Bands of America (BOA) contest in Louisville, KY. Here is some helpful information about this event:
Check out venue and ticket information here: Kentucky Regional 2024 - BOA Marching Championships (musicforall.org)
This competition will use a "prelims/finals" format. The preliminary schedule for 9/28 has been posted and FC will take the field at 1:15pm.
You will see an option to purchase tickets for prelims, finals or both. FC has been fortunate to advance to finals in this competition most years we've participated. However, this competition draws some of the best marching bands in the Midwest so it cannot be guaranteed. Either way we encourage buying tickets online, in advance, as they will be more expensive at the gate. (I'll be buying the all day pass, Go Flashes!)
This is a long day for our students so in addition to meal provided by the boosters we are asking for snack donations to keep our musicians fueled. All donations will need to be dropped off at the start of practice on Friday September 27 so that the committees can prep for Saturday. Donations can be brought to the prop room inside door 3w.

Patches and Rockers
At competitions such as BOA, there is an opportunity to purchase patches and rockers. (These are often put on student's letter jackets.) Patches and rockers (location) can be purchased at the BOA KY regional competition Saturday 9/28 or using these links:
2024 Regional
https://shop.musicforall.org/boa-2024-regional-patch/
City/State Rocker:

These patches are not otherwise provided.
Senior Night!
The questionnaire for Senior Night is now available! Friday October 11th is Senior Night. Seniors will need to complete this short questionnaire no later than 10/4 so that we can recognize them and their accomplishments prior to the football game on 10/11. https://forms.gle/hvBS9Hh4yh7TtrvU7
We've got Spirit!
Order your Spirit Buttons now! Guard pictures will be taken once they have uniforms then their buttons will be made and delivered.
This year we are selling lightning bolts. We would like to hold these up before our students perform at competitions to show our support while cheering for them as well. Available while supplies last.
Order here: https://fcbands.org/store/1919/7409
