Principal's Message
Dear Green Hope High School Families,
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Although we love and value our teachers every day, next week is a special opportunity for students, parents, and the community to demonstrate their appreciation for the countless hours of time, energy, and thought they put into each of our children. I can tell you that our Green Hope HS teachers are the most committed and dedicated group of educators I've worked with. I hope you encourage your student to demonstrate appreciation for them this week and you consider supporting our PTSA's efforts to make them feel special each day (see below)!
AP Exams will be administered at Green Hope May 6th - 17th. Announcements and important information pertaining to AP exams will be posted on Green Hope’s AP Testing page. Students should check their school email the day prior or morning of exam for room location and seat number. If there is an unexpected illness and a student must miss their exam, a doctor's note is required in order to be registered for a make-up exam. Here is the link to CollegeBoard's Late Testing Policies.
Students not taking AP Exams on a particular day will follow the regular school bell schedule.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Alison Cleveland, Principal

Congratulations DECA
Last week, 20 Green Hope DECA members traveled to California for the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim! Our chapter showcased excellence, with all competitors reaching proficiency. Three talented individuals, Gabriella Lunceford, Alexander Cui, & Saran Chittela, graduated from the Thrive Emerging Leaders Academy, where they sharpened their toolbox of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity skills. The team of Deepesh Chennamaneni, Tate Jackson, & Nikhil Ranganathan clinched 3rd place in the world in the Business Solutions Project competition, presenting solutions to real-world challenges for a local business in Raleigh! This team competed against over 160 teams from across the world and is the first team in Green Hope to win glass at the International Level! As we reflect on this incredible journey of "Experiencing the Difference", we are filled with gratitude for the support of our Green Hope community and excitement for next year. DECA membership will open for next school year in September as we look to "Be the One".
