Dear Toro Families,

Sure hope everyone's adjusting to the time change and enjoying the extra hour :)

This past week we had a wonderful series of engaging events to keep our Toros connected to traditions and culture. Between the Maze, Halloween, Student of the Month assembly, and Dia De Los Muertos celebrations, our community is vibrant and thriving!

The LCAP survey is open and we'd love your feedback. This annual survey is how we continue to be the best school for your students. If you'd like help or support completing this survey, please stop by one of our offices and we can do it together! Please see the link below.

All families are welcome to come cheer on our Toros for our Winter Sports. We have Boys Flag Football, Girls Flag Football, Boys Volleyball and Girls Volleyball--our athletes love to see a large cheering crowd! Bring a chair/umbrella and we'll see you on the court/field!

As a reminder, Trimester 1 ends on November 15. We appreciate you checking your student's grades and helping them complete any missing assignments.

A new Board Policy requires families to opt-out if they do not want their student to participate in the LCAP survey. We encourage all participation in the survey, as student feedback is valuable in improving our schools. If you choose to opt-out, lease bring the form linked below to the front office by November 5, 2024.

To continue fostering a College and Career atmosphere during middle School, Yorba Middle School students and staff participate in College Shirt Wednesdays! (including AVID & Military branch shirts).

Thank you for reviewing our school's Cell Phone and Dress Code policies with your student.

We appreciate your support to ensure we are prioritizing an academic and healthy social emotional environment for our students.

Student cell phones are allowed, but must be kept off in and in the backpack at all times. Should a parent or guardian need to contact a student during the school day, they can do so by contacting the main office. Students also have access to the office phones as needed. Students violating the cell phone policy will have their phones confiscated. In the event a student’s cell phone is confiscated, it will be held in the attendance office and must be picked up by the student’s parent or guardian. LOST or STOLEN personal items are NOT the responsibility of the school to locate or replace.

School Uniforms and PE Clothes are available for purchase in the front office.
