September Newsletter
September 7, 2023
Hello Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!! We had a GREAT first week at Red River High School. Last Wednesday we welcomed 315 freshmen to RRHS. Freshmen used an abbreviated schedule in the morning, followed by an afternoon full of activities that were led by our Student Leadership Council. On Thursday we welcomed the sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Overall, it has been a smooth start to the school year. I am always amazed at how quickly 1175 students adjust to a new school year.
Please be sure to take note of the important information in this month's newsletter, we have some important dates fast approaching.
As always, thank you for your support and if you have any questions, please contact the main office at 746-2400.
Go Riders,
Kris Arason, Principal

PowerSchool Update
There have been multiple changes at the state level that have affected PowerSchool accounts. In order to access your account you MUST complete these prompts:
1) All Students & Parents must update their PowerSchool App:
*You will know you are successful, when you log in and see "Grand Forks Public Schools" if it still says "Manvel Schools", complete the steps again.
2) All students must reset their passwords:
Sign in with your current username, if you do not know this call the main office. The temporary password will be RRHS2023 (this is case sensitive). You will then create a NEW password that must be 8 or more characters. We recommend your Google Password.
*Please note that we are not able to view your new password so if it is forgotten in the future, you will have to request another reset and repeat this process.
If you have any questions, please contact the main office.
