Scholarship Newsletter
2nd Edition: Class of 2025
NORTH DAVIDSON HIGH SCHOLARSHIP NEWSLETTER
Welcome Class of 2025!
Can you believe we are already into November? I know that deadlines are quickly approaching for college applications and many of you are feeling overwhelmed. Remember to breathe! This is good stress and good stress motivates us to do our best, so keep pushing! The work will be returned to you the day you start opening acceptance letters!
There are not a ton of new scholarship updates for November, but there are a few worth looking into. I have placed some *** next to NEW Scholarship opportunities so you can skim if you want. Best of luck and keep applying!
How do I get Scholarships?
The obvious answer, is apply for them. Sounds silly right? Wrong!
Just because the scholarship is not worth a lot, does not mean you should skim over it and keep moving. Every little bit adds up and may be exactly what you need to help make ends meet. If you took an hour of your time and applied for several scholarships in a day and only received one worth $250 dollars. Then you just made $250 an hour.
Each Green Button in this newsletter is a link. Click on the links under "Other Scholarship Resources" and search through thousands of scholarships! I promise there is at least one (but probably more) that you can apply for! There are scholarships for lefty's, making a prom dress out of Duck Tape (go ahead, check it out. I know you don't believe me https://www.duckbrand.com/stuck-at-prom/winners) , and many more off the wall things.
Take your time and do the work! Now that most of your college applications are behind you, this is your new job. MAKE time to apply for scholarships. Put it on your schedule, just like you would a sports practice, hair appointment, or gym class. When you schedule this time, you are more likely to stick to it.
Happy Searching!
