Mrs. Waters has been awarded the Innovative Educator grant to support our STEM & Literacy connection at Port Royal Elementary. She will use the funds to purchase new books and makerspace materials for students. I can't wait to see what the students create!

Mrs. Harley has been nominated for an ALL-STAR teacher award through FSi Office Supply! VOTE for her so she can win fun things for her class! She is the only BEAUFORT teacher nominated this month in SC & NC!

Make sure your student is reading every night! Reading practice helps students build fluency and vocabulary and it's FUN! Stories are entertaining and nonfiction texts are full of interesting facts. Check to see if your child has a book to read EVERY night!
