🐅 ADMIN TEAM MESSAGE 🐅
Hello Tiger families!
As we step into November, a season filled with gratitude and togetherness, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the spirit of the holidays. This time of year offers a wonderful opportunity to connect as a school community and to help our students learn the value of appreciation, kindness, and generosity. We have many events taking place this month that will allow us to get together like the Harvest Festival, The Turkey Wobble, and Turkey Feast. We hope to see you all there.
At school, via our Character Strong focus, we’re encouraging students to practice gratitude in small but meaningful ways – from saying “thank you” to a friend to helping someone in need. Studies show that gratitude can boost positivity, improve relationships, and foster resilience, all qualities we hope to nurture in our students. We encourage families to join us in these practices at home, too, perhaps by sharing a moment of gratitude at dinner or setting aside time to appreciate the good in each day.
As we prepare for the holiday season, let’s focus on supporting one another and building connections that make our school a warm, welcoming place for all. Thank you for your continued partnership, and here’s to a season filled with gratitude and joy!
Warm regards,
🍂COUNSELOR'S CORNER🍂
November's School-Wide Character Focus is Gratitude!
We are looking forward to focusing on gratitude this month! One way to think about gratitude is “choosing to appreciate the people and things in our lives.” Practicing Gratitude can increase our well-being and even our happiness! Gratitude is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students be well. Across grade levels, students will be developing skills like emotion regulation, positive self-talk, and stress-management.
Have some fun connecting as a family this month while practicing gratitude:
What are some small, specific things that you are grateful for? Maybe it is your favorite water cup, the way the cat sleeps on the chair, or when your grandma bakes banana bread. Spend some time as a family trying to think of at least 10 small things that you have gratitude for and then choose to notice them this week with a smile.

Can you share or show what it means to practice Gratitude?
