Namib Desert
The Namib is a costal desert in southern africa. The Namib has barley any humans exept for small settlements. Stretches for more than 2,000 kilometers.
Cape of Good Hope
There is a misconception that the Cape of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa, because it was once believed to be the dividing point between the Atlantic & Indian Oceans. The Cape of Good Hope is a rocky headland.
Johannesburg
Johannesburg is the largest city in Southern Africa. also the world's largest city not situated on a river, lake, or coastline. It claims to be the lightning capital of the world, though this title is also claimed by others.
Zambezi River
The Zambezi is the 4th largest river in the world. The area of it's basin is 1,390,000 square kilometres.
Limpopo River
The Limpopo River rises in central southern Africa, and flows generally eastwards to the Indian Ocean. The term Limpopo is the modified version of the original Sepedi name Diphororo tsa meetse. Diphororo tsa meetse means gushing strong waterfalls.
