SPRINGER PLACES 3RD AT STATE
Let's have a big round of applause for Mineral Point FFA Chapter member Sammy Springer who brought home 3rd place Monday afternoon in the first-ever State FFA Auctioneering Career Development Event held at Marshfield!
This is the first year the FFA has held this event to provide an avenue to explore and bring awareness to the auction industry.
As the second runner-up, Sammy earned this nice trophy and won complimentary conference registration for the 2026 Wisconsin Auctioneers Association Convention.

And then there were 10 -- Roen Carey becomes just the 10th #PointerNation Wrestler to achieve the 150 win milestone! Congrats to Carey on achieving this honor at the Wausau East tournament last weekend.
LINDSEY NAMED SEMIFINALIST
WisSports.net is proud to showcase the Wisconsin Sports Network High School Basketball Awards -- congratulations to Eli Lindsey for being named a Semifinalist on the Wing Senior List!
The pre-season list was trimmed to 15 semifinalists for each position halfway through the year, with five finalists to be selected at the outset of the playoffs. WSN staff will review the finalists and select a winner for each award, with an announcement made the week of the state basketball finals.
