Welcome to a brand-new year! We hope you enjoyed a joyful and restful holiday season filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones. As we enter 2025, we are excited to continue working together to support your children’s growth, learning, and success.

We are especially looking forward to the many fun activities and events we have planned for the coming months. We look forward to sharing information, pictures, and keeping you informed of all the wonderful things happening at School #6.

Together, we’ll make 2025 a year full of memorable experiences for our students and families! Thank you for being an essential part of our school community. Let’s make this year one of positivity and great progress!

We are so proud of our 5th graders who participated in the Americanism Essay Contest! Their hard work and creativity truly showcase the bright future of our Sixer leaders! We are very proud of their hard work and commitment to learning and growing every single day!

A big shout-out to our amazing Sixers' Safety Patrol Squad who go above and beyond to support our teachers and classmates throughout the day! From helping with transitions to keeping our school safe and organized, these leaders set a great example of respect, kindness, and responsibility. Thank you, Safety Patrol, for being such an important part of our Sixer family! This awesome group of students is led by Mr. Prado.

We are excited to welcome Ms. Buscio as our new full-time counselor at School #6! With her passion for supporting students' social, emotional, and academic well-being, Ms. Buscio is eager to collaborate with families and staff to ensure every Sixer thrives.

As we head into the colder months, it’s important to prioritize health and wellness for our students and families. Encourage your child to wash their hands regularly, stay active, and get plenty of rest to support their immune system.

If your child isn’t feeling well, please keep them home, and remember to send any doctor’s notes to our school nurse to ensure proper documentation.

School #6's Home and School Association (HSA) is vital in creating memorable experiences for our students and families, but we can’t do it without you! We have several exciting events coming up, and we’re in need of parent volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, or running activities during the events.
