A MESSAGE FROM THE PTA CO-PRESIDENTS
On behalf of the Polk Street School Parent Teacher Association (PTA), we would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you and your families back to Polk Street School. We are excited for another wonderful year at PSS. As we embark on our first day of school, we would like to invite you all to the wonderful volunteer opportunities Polk Street School PTA has to offer. The PTA is a group of parents and teachers working together to provide students with a quality education in a nurturing environment. To meet this important objective, we must fundraise. The money we raise goes directly to our children offering cultural enrichment programs for all grades, and hosting fun events for our children and families to enjoy.
Polk Street School PTA is proud of all the hard work and dedication of our families. As the new school year begins, we once again ask for your support so that we can continue making resources and learning opportunities available to our children. Hereโs how you can help:
โข BECOME A MEMBER: Membership dues are $10 for the first member and $5 for each member after the first and must be renewed annually. We invite parents, family members, teachers, and community members to join. (click button below)
โข VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME: The PTA is an all-volunteer force. The only way we can accomplish so much for the staff and students is by having lots of willing volunteers. (click button below)
โข ATTEND PTA MEETINGS & EVENTS: We invite you to join us for our first PTA meeting on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 7pm.

Join with us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children. Children learn more and have better lives when parents, school, faculty, students and the community work together. PTA brings all these groups together to share thoughts, ideas, and activities that benefit children. Our cultural arts programs and school events are funded by your support. PTA Membership needs to be renewed each year. The cost is $10 for individual membership or $15 for both parents. Joining the PTA does not obligate you to volunteer. Your membership contribution is just as important.
