Lincoln Elementary School
July 2024
An Introduction From Mr. Olson
I hope everyone is having a great summer! As some of you may know, I will be the new principal at Lincoln this upcoming school year! I am thrilled to be joining the Lincoln Community, and I am very excited for what is ahead!
With the 4th of July behind us, hopefully the holiday was spent with family and involved quality time. I know my family saw the fireworks at Hometown Fest on Friday as I am sure some of our Lincoln families were there as well!
Prior to coming to Lincoln, I have spent the past few years at Winston Campus and Thomas Jefferson. At both of those schools within CCSD15, I have worked in the assistant principal or interim principal role for the past 5 years! I love to spend time with my wife and kids (Blake, 2 and Nick 4). Along with that, I enjoy reading books, grilling/cooking, as well as being outside! I included a picture of my family as I am sure you will be seeing them around at Lincoln events in the coming years!
Additionally, my job is to serve and support our great community! My role is one of servant leadership and as time goes on, you will see that I am here to help, serve and work together with our amazing team of Lincoln staff members!
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out with anything!
In this together! Go Lions!

Updates on Chromebooks
In the event that you child's Chromebook stops working over the summer months, please contact Lincoln to schedule a time to drop off the broken Chromebook and pick up a loaner. Each of our schools is equipped with loaners for such occurrences. Once the Chromebook is repaired, the school will contact you to arrange a time to return the loaner and pick up the repaired Chromebook.
Construction Updates!
Since school finished up on May 23rd, we have been hard at work at Lincoln with many of the changes ahead of the 2024-2025 school year! Here a few snapshots of the work being done on the library, kindergarten wings, multi-purpose room, the parking lots, and much more!
