Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), Anna Marietta, worked diligently to get Millet Learning Center student Dalvon Woods, a speech generating device. She worked through two insurance appeals never giving up to get Dalvon his voice. He and Mom were obviously extremely excited and thankful! Saginaw ISD and Millet Learning Center are lucky to have such a dedicated SLP advocating for her students!
Ashley Burgoyne, Speech and Language Pathologist in Swan Valley School District, has worked very hard to get six students in the early childhood special education preschool class speech generating devices covered by their insurance. Six students is over half the class that she has been ale to give them a voice and the gift of communication! Saginaw ISD and Swan Valley are so very lucky to have such a dedicated SLP!
