Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year!
Welcome to the Patriot Family! We are thrilled to have you here and hope your child has an amazing experience at Beckman.
As part of the Beckman Community, you will receive approximately two digital newsletters each month to keep you informed about various campus events. Our “Patriot Post” newsletter highlights musical performances, athletic events, dances, plays, and other campus activities. It also includes school-wide announcements to keep parents updated.
The second newsletter, “Counseling Corner,” comes from our counseling department and contains academic and college planning information. It includes general counseling news, grade-level sections, and dates for upcoming presentations like Financial Aid nights and college visits.
You can find past newsletters on our website here.
Link Cru Freshmen Orientation on Tues. July 30th
Each year, Beckman High School hosts a very memorable, impactful and FUN welcome event for our incoming 9th grade students called Freshmen Link Cru Orientation. Freshmen Link Cru Orientation is a 4 hour event that gives incoming 9th grade students the opportunity to meet other Beckman students, get a personalized tour of our entire school, receive guidance & mentorship on navigating high school from involved upperclassmen students and to create fun memories! This year, our Freshmen Orientation will be on Tuesday, July 30th at Beckman High School and all freshmen families have been sent more information and an RSVP link via email.
Registration Information, Dates, and Times
Registration is a day for students to come to campus and take care of several items before the first day of school to ensure a smooth start to the year. All students will have the opportunity to take ID card pictures, purchase items from our student store, and receive their class list. Incoming freshmen will also pick up their Surface Pro laptop. If there are any issues with classes, we will have admin and counselors available to address the issues before the start of the year. Please make sure your child attends on their assigned date. If necessary, we can accommodate students on dates not assigned to them, but wait times may be longer.
Below are the dates and times for registration. The times are "windows" and students can arrive anytime within the window of time. Depending on lines and student needs, registration should take approximately 30-45 minutes for grades 10-12. 9th grade registration will generally take longer as students will need to pick up a new laptop and login before leaving campus.

Student Schedules Live In Aeries on August 11th
A question we often get asked this time of year is "When can I see my schedule in Aeries?" Our master schedule is in constant flux as students move in and move out of our area. During registration, students also change classes and the schedule adjusts accordingly. Because of all the changes, we will not finalize the schedule until shortly before the start of the school year. Student schedules will be viewable with teacher and room information on Sunday, August 11th.

First Day of School Reminders
The first day of school will be on Wednesday, August 14th. Here are a few reminders to help make it as smooth as possible:
- Please know that there will be TRAFFIC. Anytime you have roughly 3000 people moving in and out of a space, there will be traffic. Please plan to arrive early, make arrangements to carpool, or drop off just off campus so that students can walk.
- We will be on a regular schedule, NOT a late start schedule. Here is a link to our bell schedules.
- Zero period WILL meet on the first day of school.
- Classes will be live in Aeries this weekend. Any updates or changes requested will be processed in the order they are received and will be reflected in Aeries immediately.
- SMILE! We're excited to get the new year off to a good start!
