April showers will bring May Flowers!
Our week back from break was very productive and exciting.
On behalf of the teachers, we want to express how proud we are of the 3rd - 8th grade students who took the ELA state test. They were very attentive and we know they tried their best! We will receive the scores in the fall on how they did and provide our teachers with great feedback to help in improving instruction.
Our week concluded with an Easter Mass. Our students learned that Easter is more than the Easter bunny, but about Jesus had to rise from death to show us salvation. Fr. Carlos also explain that the true symbol of Easter is the Pascal candle. Students were shown the Pascal candle and learned about the different symbols on it.
Then, we had our annual egg hunt sponsored by our student council. It was fun for all as each class looked for the special golden egg.
Coming up...
Monday is spirit wear day! Also it is an early dismissal day for the students who ride the Geneva bus at 1:15 pm.

Friday, we will release Quarter 3 report cards.

Memorial Day Parade Help Wanted
We are seeking a group of parents and their families to help plan what we will do for the Waterloo and Geneva Memorial Day parades. We have one family already, but we need a couple more.
If you love to decorate, celebrate our school, and have some good old-fashion fun, this is a role for you!
Planning consists of deciding if we want to make a float to what do we hand out to the many people attending. The goal is to advertise our school and show off our school spirit!
If interested, please contact Paula Caito-Capozzi.
