Life is better at the L.A.K.E.
Lakeside Middle School - September 1, 2024
The first month of school is officially complete! We began the year with the first two days focused on expecations and building relationships. Building this foundation is key to the success of our students and staff. Students are excited to earn points in our PBIS rewards system and begin to shop at the Bait Shop. Thank you to our community for all of the continued support to ensure that each member of our community is safe, connected, and thriving.
As a Lakeside community, we stand for Leadership, Attitude, Kindness, and Effort. It truly is Better at the LAKE.

Please have a plan on how your student will get home each day prior to leaving for school. The school will not be able to contact each student regarding transportation changes. Students will be allowed to look at their phones at 4:10 to check for transportation changes sent by parents. If your student is a walker, have a back up plan in place in case of cancellation of walkers due to weather.
No students are allowed to check out after 3:30.

Students that arrive prior to 8:30 will go to the cafeteria.
Bus riders will go directly from their bus to their classroom.
Please do not let car riders out before they reach the sidewalk inside our parking lot in the morning.

Walkers:
Walkers will be dismissed out the front doors beginning at 4:15.

Car Riders:
Car Riders will be dismissed as soon as walkers are clear. Please tell your student to look for you so that when you pull to the front they can get in quickly. There are not car rider numbers. You do not need to notify the school if your child is changing transportation.
Please pull all the way until the end of the PODS. Cars alternate turning into the parking lot.
Bus Riders:
Bus Riders will be dismissed as the buses arrive. Please be patient with the bus routes for the first few weeks of school.
