π¨βπ©βπ§βπ§ Curriculum/ Parent Teacher Conferences π¨βπ©βπ¦βπ¦
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming September Curriculum and Parent-Teacher Conference, scheduled for Thursday, September 28th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event promises to be an invaluable opportunity for us to connect, share information, and chart a successful educational journey for your child.
**Conference Agenda:**
**1. Workshop: Title 1 (5:00 PM - 5:45 PM)**
- Parents should prioritize attending our Title 1 workshop because it provides invaluable insights into the significance of Title 1 funding for schools and its direct impact on their children's education. Title 1 funding plays a pivotal role in addressing educational disparities by allocating resources to schools with a higher proportion of students from low-income families. By attending this workshop, parents can gain a deeper understanding of how Title 1 funding supports smaller class sizes, additional instructional materials, and targeted interventions that enhance their children's learning experiences. It also offers a platform for parents to actively engage with educators, fostering a stronger partnership between home and school to ensure every child has a fair and equitable opportunity to succeed academically.
**2. Grade Team Meetings (5:50 PM - 6:55 PM)**
- Get an insightful overview of what your child will be learning this year. Our dedicated educators will provide you with a glimpse into the curriculum and classroom experience for the 2023-2024 academic year.
- **5:50 PM - 6:20 PM:** Grades 9 & 12
- **6:25 PM - 6:55 PM:** Grades 10 & 11
