Join Us for the Singer PTA Silent Auction on Friday, March 7th
The PTA Auction is the biggest fundraiser of the year, as well as a social event for parents. We are excited to see you all on Friday, March 7, from 7:30-9:30pm at Solaire Social in downtown Silver Spring. Food will be provided from various vendors at the food hall, and beverages will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $10 per person, and admission for teachers is free (no need to register). Please visit the link below to purchase your tickets and preview the array of items up for auction. Items are added daily, so please keep checking back for updates. Note that bidding will begin online on March 1 at 6pm, and will run through 8pm on March 7.
The Kids After Hours team will be providing childcare at Flora Singer for the evening so you can enjoy an evening out, and pizza will be provided for the kids. Information for KAH registration will be available closer to the event.
Flora Singer Directory
We are working on completing the Singer student directory to share with everyone soon. Traditionally, the PTA has provided the school directory to every family as a paper booklet. It includes contact information for all students whose families have not opted out of sharing it.
Like last year, the default option for the directory is digital. If you would like an electronic copy of the directory, you do not have to do anything. Everyone will receive a digital copy of the directory once it is completed. However, we understand that some people might prefer a printed copy. If this is you, please submit your information using the link below as soon as you are able. If you have multiple children at Singer, you only need to submit one response!
If you have questions, please contact Anke at anke_scherzer@hotmail.com.
Winter Schedule: PTA Meetings, STEM Fair, and More!
We have a number of spring events that require significant volunteer support. Volunteer roles can be limited to a few hours on the day of the event, or closer work with the relevant committee. These are a great opportunity to get involved and get to know more of the Singer community.
